Beastars' final season to arrive on Netflix in 2024

Popular anime series Beastars will come to an end in a couple years.
Announced yesterday, the final season of Beastars will be on Netflix in 2024. Director Shin'ichi Matsumi and writer Nanami Higuchi will reunite with production company Orange to work on the final season.
Debuting in 2019, the anime adaptation of Beastars earned 11 total nominations at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards with one win for Best Opening Sequence in 2021. The series also won for Best Anime at the 2020 Manga Barcelona and Best CG Animation at the 2019 CGWORLD Awards.
The Beastars manga ran from 2016 to 2020 in manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion. Aside from an anime adaptation, a Beastars play was in development until the pandemic postponed the performance.
A synopsis for the manga reads:
One night at Cherryton Academy, an herbivore student is brutally murdered. Among the members of the Drama Club, the herbivores’ suspicions naturally turn to their carnivore classmates… The prime suspect? Gray wolf Legoshi. But he wouldn’t hurt a fly. Or would he? Will dwarf rabbit Haru bring out the beast in him? Or are his feelings for her…something else?
