Babymetal's new album 'Metal Forth' gets Top 10 debut in the United States

Babymetal has earned a major milestone thanks to their new studio album Metal Forth.

Revealed today, the new album debuted at number nine on the Billboard Top 200 chart. This makes Babymetal the first all-Japanese band to earn a Top 10 album in the States. Metal Forth also made it in the Top 10 in Austria, Japan, Belgium, Germany, Scotland, and Switzerland. Babymetal said this about the achievement:

“Thank you so much for your support on our new album METAL FORTH around the world! We hope you enjoy it! Our music & career are evolving globally, and we are moving forward with “Beyond HEAVY METAL.” Our journey continues, and we can’t wait to see you at BABYMETAL shows in your city and your country.”

While their headlining tour is complete, Babymetal will return to the United States on Saturday, November 1 with a special headlining show at Inuit Dome in Los Angeles. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
