Los Angeles singer-songwriter Avery Lynch has delivered their new single “Sweetheart” today.
Lynch said this about the song:
“‘Sweetheart’ reflects on the early days of my relationship and how quickly I realized that what I’d accepted in the past wasn’t love. I remember being surprised, and embarrassingly impressed, by him asking me follow-up questions, walking me home, and genuinely wanting me around. It was eye-opening to be with someone who cared about me and wasn’t afraid to show it.
I wrote this one with my boyfriend Jordan and our close friend Neisha Grace. Producing the track with Jordan afterwards felt like a really full-circle moment.”
“Sweetheart” is available on digital services right now. This is the last single before the release of Lynch’s forthcoming EP, which will arrive in September.
