Assemblage 23 & Helix to perform at QXT's 28th anniversary celebration tonight

New Jersey alternative club QXT’s will be celebrating their 28th anniversary tonight, and everyone’s invited to come!

Headlining the festivities are Seattle EBM outfit Assemblage 23. Founded by Tom Shear in 1988, the act have toured around the world and found heavy rotation in goth clubs everywhere. Their last studio album was 2016’s Endure.

Before Assemblage 23 goes on, Shear will perform in his synthpop side project Helix, which features vocalist Mari Kattman. The act unveiled their debut studio album Twin last year on Metropolis Records.

Doors for this 21+ event will open at 9 p.m. Tickets can still be purchased online until noon today. Tickets will be sold at the door for $30. The first 100 people arriving to the event will get a free QXT’s T-shirt.

More information on QXT’s can be found here. The nightclub is located on 248 Mulberry Street in Newark, New Jersey (two blocks from the Prudential Center).
