Annie Blackman unveils "How" music video

New York/New Jersey singer-songwriter Annie Blackman has dropped the music video for their single “How” today.

The visual, which is available below, was written by Blackman with Katrina Peterson taking over both director and editor chairs. Blackman said this about the visual:

"I wanted to put a surreal, silly twist on a "the other woman" story. Costumes have so much narrative power, and, here, added some easy levity to an otherwise pretty somber song. An extra touch of fun is that my co-star, Miles, and I dated for bit in college, which is definitely the meta cherry-on-top of this video."

“How,” which is available on digital services right now via Father/Daughter Records, stems from Blackman’s forthcoming debut album arriving this April. Blackman will head to SXSW on March 18 to take part of Father/Daughter Records & Bayonet Records official showcase at The Velveeta Room.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
