New Jersey singer-songwriter Annie Blackman have unveiled their new song “Drive” today.

The track, which can be heard below, is part of Blackman’s single series through Father/Daughter Records. The artist said this about the tune:

"Drive is a post-grad panic song. In 2020, I spent a lot of time thinking about whether I wanted to move to New York or LA, and every time, the debate came back to my fear of driving. I used that as a launchpad to spiral about my imagined adult life. Writing this song helped me decide to stay in New York."

Tomorrow (November 17), Blackman will be performing with Closebye at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere. On February 2, they’ll support Julia Jacklin inside Baltimore’s Ottobar. Tickets for these shows are on sale to the general public right now.

“Drive” is out on digital services right now.
