Anna McClellan announces new album 'I Saw First Light'

Today, Omaha singer/songwriter Anna McClellan has announced their new studio album I Saw First Light.
To coincide with the announcement, the artist decided to drop some new music. They didn’t just release on single, though. Two singles from the album (“Pace of the Universe” and “Desperate”) are available for your listening pleasure below. When it comes to “Desperate,” McClellan said:
"Desperate tracks the thoughts of someone (me) desperate to be fully seen and understood. It harkens back to my teen years when male validation seemed the only way to be seen and I would sit in my room at my parent’s house all night feeling phantom vibrations, my heart leaping as I looked at the phone to see my crush still hadn’t texted. There’s also an underlying question of whether or not it’s possible for me to be fully seen by another and the fear that maybe genuine connection will elude me forever."
The music video for “Pace of the Universe” was directed by McClellan, Charis Forrester, and Ameen Wahba.
Pre-orders for I Saw First Light can be made here. The record will be released on November 20 via Father/Daughter Records. This will be the follow up to their 2018 studio album Yes and No.
