Anime Expo to host music festival for 2025 installment

Anime Expo will bring together a handful of Japanese music artists for a massive music festival celebrating anime.

Revealed today, J-POP SOUND CAPSULE @AX2025 Anisong World Matsuri Returns will take place at the Peacock Theater on July 3. The one-night event will feature performances from FLOW (NARUTO, Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion), GRANRODEO (Bungou Stray Dogs,Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans), TOGENASHI TOGEARI (GIRLS BAND CRY), Sakurazaka46 (Pokémon, Hunter × Hunter), Hiroshi Kitadani (One Piece), and opening band ASTERISM.

FLOW said this about their forthcoming performance:

“We can't wait to meet all of you who love Japanese anime, music, and us, FLOW! Let's create the ultimate, most passionate concert together. We'll be waiting for you at Anime Expo 2025!”

TOGENASHI TOGEARI also said:

“Hello! We are Togenashi Togeari! This will be our first time in the USA, and we’re so excited! We’ll do our very best to share the greatness of Japanese anime and bands with all our energy, so please join us with all your passion!”

Tickets and VIP meet and greet with selected artists will go on sale soon. A badge for Anime Expo is required to attend the concert.
