Alina Gingertail releases "Greflet’s Song" from King’s Bounty II soundtrack
Russian musician Alina Gingertail has unveiled the first taste of the King’s Bounty II soundtrack.
The cut "Greflet’s Song,” which can be heard below, was produced by Raney Shockne, who has worked on pieces for Dragon Age: Inquisition, Cyberpunk 2077, and Star Wars Battlefront II. Aside from video game music, the Los Angeles composer/producer has worked with Britney Spears, Pitbull, and Giorgio Moroder.
Gingertail said this about the new song:
“I haven't been this excited in a very long time. For so many years, I have been recording covers for my favorite songs from video games. And now the moment has come when I can proudly present the first original song for King's Bounty II official soundtrack, created with famous music composer and producer Raney Shockne (the creator of ‘Sera Was Never’ from Dragon Age: Inquisition and other great soundtracks).
The guys from King's Bounty II team gave me a chance to collaborate with Raney on the in-game music! I really excited and can't wait to present all our songs, play the game myself and ride around Nostria. I heard the in-game world is quite big, that there’s an epic story and the tactical battles are great... but for now, listen to the new song. For Nostria!”
King’s Bounty II is set for an August 24 release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Pre-orders can be made here. King’s Bounty II is a direct sequel to 1990’s King’s Bounty, which became a major influence on the Heroes of Might and Magic series.
