Hit Parader are tossing out covers in favor of original music with their forthcoming music competition No Cover.

With this competition, bands from around the world will compete for the grand prize of a six-figure recording contract with Sumerian Records, a management contract from the Shelter Music Group, booking agency representation from UTA, festival slot appearances at Danny Wimmer Presents-backed live events, studio time at Nightbird Recording Studios, gear from Gibson, and more.

The competition will feature Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale, Gavin Rossdale, Tosin Abasi, and Bishop Briggs as the judges. Sleeping With Sirens vocalist Kellin Quinn and SiriusXM‘s Caity Babs will co-host the show while iconic music personality Matt Pinfield handles behind-the-scenes interviews. The show will be filmed at both the Troubadour and The Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood, California.

Unsigned bands and solo artists can head here to apply for the show. There’s a minimum fee of $99 to enter. For $199, artists can get feedback from a senior executive at Sumerian Records. For $499, artists can get their material reviewed by record executive Tom Zutaut, who is best known for signing Guns N Roses and Motley Crue. The deadline to enter is November 25, 2020.
