Abyss, New Jack, and more headed to WWE 2K25's Season Pass

WWE 2K25 has revealed the list of wrestlers coming to the game via its Season Pass today, and it features some surprising names.

Recent additions to the WWE such as Penta and Motor City Machine Guns will make their way to the game. For those looking to add even more old-school wrestlers to their Universe mode roster, November’s Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack will deliver iconic wrestlers such as Jesse Ventura and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff.

Two standout names headed to the game are Abyss and New Jack. Abyss, who was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame back in 2018, currently works at the WWE as a producer. New Jack, who passed away in 2021, was one of ECW’s most memorable performers. New Jack’s wrestling career was spotlighted in an episode of Dark Side of the Ring titled "The Life and Crimes of New Jack.”

One obvious complaint from fans online is the addition of celebrities and NBA stars to the pack. Last year, WWE 2K24 found itself in hot water with fans with the addition of football players and crew members of The Pat McAfee Show in the Pat McAfee pack. Most players would want those slots filled with actual wrestlers instead.

A full list of DLC packs can be seen below. Pre-ordering the Deadman and The Bloodline editions of WWE 2K25 will include the Season Pass. The Season Pass can also be purchased separately with the standard edition. Pre-orders for the game can be made here.
