Yoko Takahashi to hold Evangelion-only concert at Tokyo's Zepp Shinjuku this May
Japanese singer Yoko Takahashi will celebrate their relationship with iconic anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion with a special concert.
Yoko Takahashi Evangelion ultimate Live Tsuki Ju Ya will take place at Tokyo’s Zepp Shinjuku on May 28. This concert comes weeks after the venue officially opens on April 14. This concert will feature a set filled with songs from Evangelion. More information about the concert can be found on Takahashi’s website.
Takahashi is best known for Neon Genesis Evangelion’s opening theme "A Cruel Angel's Thesis," which has become one of the most recognizable anime songs of all time.
Takahashi will unveil their new EP EVANGELION ETERNALLY on May 10, which features the Shin Japan Heroes Universe promotional song "Tsumi to Batsu Inorazaru Mono yo." This follows their 2019 EP EVANGELION EXTREME.
