Beloved indie label Yep Roc Records will celebrate 25 years of unveiling great music this fall.

Announced today, Yep Roc Records’ 25th anniversary concert will take place on October 22 inside The Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, North Carolina. The lineup for this special event includes Dawn Landes, The Old Ceremony, Jennyanykind, Mayflies USA, Chris Stamey, and headlining act Caitlin Cary, who’ll have their first live performance since 2005. More acts will be announced closer to the event.

David Shaw, Co-General Manager of Yep Roc Records said this about the concert:

“It is so cool that all these amazing artists from North Carolina are coming together for this show. I see this as a celebration of these artists and the venue that played such an important role in developing artists in this community, as much as it is a celebration of Yep Roc Records’ 25th anniversary.”

Mariah Czap, Co-General Manager of Yep Roc Records also said:

“It was important for us to honor those artists who were foundational in developing Yep Roc as a label in the early years of our history. We’ve always prided ourselves on having North Carolina roots and being involved in the local music community. It feels special to celebrate this milestone birthday with a lineup of artists and friends who have helped make us the label we are today.”

Since 1997, Yep Roc Records has unveiled albums from acts such as Blitzen Trapper, Los Straitjackets, Gang of Four, Fountains of Wayne, and Born Ruffians.
