Black metal gurus Wolves in the Throne Room have announced their new studio album Primordial Arcana.

Revealed today, the eight-track release will arrive on August 20 via Relapse Records (North America) and Century Media (Europe). The first single from the release titled "Mountain Magick" is available on all digital platforms right now. The music video for the song, which can be seen below, was directed by the band, who said this about filming:

“Mountain Magick was shot in the northern reaches of the Olympic Mountains and the ancient forests that shroud the foothills. We wrote the story, created the costumes, shot the footage and did the editing ourselves, so it is a true product of our hearts and souls. Creating our own videos has been a long standing dream and now It’s very exciting to bring these Visions into the Cinematic Realm.”

Primordial Arcana was produced, mixed, and recorded by the band. Pre-orders can be made here. This is the follow-up to their 2017 studio album Thrice Woven.
