Stockholm post-punk group Viagra Boys dropped their new single "Troglodyte" yesterday.

The track comes from the band’s forthcoming studio album Cave World, which arrives on July 8th via YEAR0001. Vocalist Sebastian Murphy said this about the new cut:

"People look down at apes as primitive life forms, but we're just this horrible, lazy society killing each other and starting wars, while they’re able to love and feel. Does that make them the true ape or us?"

Viagra Boys will return to North America in support of the album this fall on a co-headlining tour with Shame. The band will also head to Europe for a slew of dates at the end of the year. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now.
