Long Island alternative hip-hop act Versa the Band have unveiled their new single "ROLL (Homies Love Democracy).”

The music video for the single, which you can see below, was directed by vocalist Ethan Felizzari. When it comes to the meaning behind the track, Felizzari said:

"This is not an anti-government song. This a song that is against the current system that chooses to only benefit a certain few. The only way to rid the plague that is our current system, is by restarting. So with each line -- I am not trying to start a war or trying to get people angry... I'm trying to express that the ideology of democracy is a beautiful thing... we need to get back to THAT."

"ROLL (Homies Love Democracy)" is the first single from Versa the Band’s forthcoming studio album Free Thinker, which will be released this summer. A compilation of their earlier material titled 19'​-​20' is available on Bandcamp.
