Swedish post-punk band Then Comes Silence unveiled their new single “Ride or Die” today.

The track arrives with a music video co-directed by the band and Gözde Duzer, which can be seen below. “Ride or Die” stems from Then Comes Silence’s forthcoming studio album Trickery, which will be released on April 5 via Metropolis Records.

Vocalist Alex Svenson said this about the album’s themes of friendship and unity:

“No one is free from apprehension and fear. Everyone feels some kind of alienation in certain degrees. You might often think you need to camouflage yourself to be part of a context. Make a change to fit in the group. The need for friendship is strong so you adapt. Maybe not always the way you hoped. But then... there are moments when we unite and harmonize with other people and feel an incredible community together. That feeling is priceless and a blessing. Friendship is love. It is important and worth fighting for.”

Pre-saves and pre-adds for Trickery can be made here.

This spring, Then Comes Silence will embark on a headlining trek across North America with support from Vision Video, Aurelio Voltaire, and Tears For The Dying. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
