The Untitled Ify, Drea, and Alonso Project to hold Oscars watchalong on Twitch
If you’re watching the Oscars this Sunday, the Untitled Ify, Drea, & Alonso Project will be around to provide some unique commentary on the evening’s festivities.
The movie podcast will hold a special watchalong of the Oscars over on Twitch starting at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST. The Untitled Ify, Drea, & Alonso Project features writer Ify Nwadiwe (Apex Legends, @midnight), film producer Drea Clark (No Light and No Land Anywhere, Lake Los Angeles), and film critic Alonso Duralde. Since 2017, the podcast has been delivering critique on some of the biggest films out there. Their recent episode finds them discussing Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, which has five Oscar nominations. This Sunday’s Oscars will debut trailers for West Side Story, In the Heights, and Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised). Mank, Judas and the Black Messiah, and Sound of Metal are among the films nominated for multiple awards with Mank earning 10 nominations. 15 stars will be presenting awards during the event, including Joaquin Phoenix, Bong Joon-ho, and Rita Moreno.
The Oscars will air on ABC with pre-show coverage starting at 4 p.m. EST/1 p.m. PST.
