Philly sludge rockers The Stone Eye have dropped the music video for their song “Who’s There?”

The visual, which can be seen below, was co-directed by drummer Jeremiah Bertin and singer Stephen Burdick. Burtin said this about filming the music video:

“When I wrote the screenplay for ‘Who’s There’, my goal was to write something silly and funny, while also maintaining the themes of mystery and paranoia that are reflected in the lyrics. Luckily, the final product was exactly how I envisioned it to be. Filming the video was a lot of fun, and it was a very creative process, with all four of us bouncing ideas back and forth and ending up with a truly collaborative effort. This is one of my favorite things that we have done as a band because it was way outside of our comfort zone; none of us had ever acted on camera before. But I think this video just goes to show that when you set out to just have fun and be silly, you may stumble upon a side of you that you never knew you had.”

“Who’s There?” stems from The Stone Eye’s new studio album South of the Sun, which is out right now on Eclipse Records. The Stone Eye will be promoting the album on the road with Smile Empty Soul and Autumn Academy along with some headlining performances. The band will also make an appearance at the Maryland Doom Fest in June. Tour dates can be seen below.
