While The Melvins have a co-headlining trek with Napalm Death booked for next spring, the band decided to start things a bit early in their home state.

Revealed today, The Melvins will embark on a six-date headlining “Spring Break” trek across the state. The trek kicks off on March 1 at The Nile Theater in Bakersfield, and it’ll conclude on March 7 at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown. CNTS and Desslok will be the opening acts for these shows. Tickets for these shows will go on sale to the general public this Friday (December 20) at 10 a.m. PST. Pre-sale tickets will go live Wednesday (December 18) at 10 a.m. PST with the code “SPRINGBREAK!”

Starting on April 4, The Melvins and Napalm Death will embark on their cross-country trek with special guests Weedeater (April 4-May 5), Titan To Tachyons featuring Mr. Bungle’s Trevor Dunn (May 7- 20), The Hard-Ons with Jerry A (May 22-June 7), and Shane Embury’s Dark Sky Burial (all dates).
