The Lone Bellow release new single "Gold," announce fall 2022 U.S. tour
The Lone Bellow have released their new single “Gold” today.
The song, which can be heard below, is the first piece of music since the band’s 2020 studio album Half Moon Light. Guitarist Brian Elmquist said this about the song, which is on digital services right now:
“We don’t ever try to write songs with an agenda, so with ‘Gold’ the idea was to tell the story from the perspective of someone in a hard situation—in this case, a guy who’s stuck in the downward spiral of addiction. We’ve sung ‘Gold’ as a folk song in the past, but for the recording we wanted to really experiment and push our sound as far as it could go.”
The Lone Bellow have also revealed a fall U.S. tour, which kicks off on October 22 inside Stoughton’s Stoughton Opera House. Tour dates can be seen below. Pre-sale tickets are on sale right now with the code LOVESONGS. Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow (July 22) at 10 a.m. local time.
