Concerts have returned to Los Angeles, and music lovers have been having a blast safely checking out their favorite acts live. These are five of the best concerts going down in Los Angeles this Thanksgiving week from Monday, November 22 through Sunday, November 28.
Monday, November 22
Cumgirl8 @ Zebulon (8 p.m.) (tickets)
NYC post-punk band Cumgirl8 head to Los Angeles for a special Monday night performance inside Zebulon. The act recently unveiled their new EP RIPcumgirl8. Joining them for the night as support are WACKO, NIIS, Dai Burger, and Shamon Cassette.
Friday, November 26
Substance Festival @ The Belasco (5 p.m.) (tickets)
A slew of post-punk and industrial acts will take over The Belasco for Substance Festival. Night one of the event will feature performances from Chelsea Wolfe, Earth, and Ceremony. More information about the three-day festival can be found here.
Boxfest @ Don Quixote (7 p.m.) (tickets)
Hip hop fans are heading to Don Quixote for Boxfest, which features some rising rappers. DC The Don, D Savage, and Kid Trunks are among those slated to perform.
Art Feynman, Tonstartssbandht @ The Echo (8 p.m.) (tickets)
Art pop act Art Feynman, psychedelic band Tonstartssbandht, and meditative pop act Sonoda will take over The Echo for a night of music courtesy of Desert Daze. Feynman, which is the alter ego of Luke Temple, unveiled their last album Half Price at 3:30 last year. Tonstartssbandht will be promoting their new studio album Petunia. Sonoda, who unveiled a couple singles this year, will be heading SXSW next year.
Saturday, November 27
Judith Hill, Brittany Campbell @ The Troubadour (8 p.m.) (tickets)
Los Angeles soul singer Judith Hill will have a hometown show inside The Troubadour. The artist will be supporting their latest album Baby, I'm Hollywood! Joining them as support is Brittany Campbell, whose last studio album was 2018's Stay Gold.
