New Year’s Eve arrives on Sunday, and a plethora of people still don’t have plans to bring in 2024. If you’re looking for something to do alone or with a crew, these events are some of the best in town.

New Year's Eve comedy event @ Dynasty Typewriter (tickets)

Dynasty Typewriter is bidding farewell to 2023 with a stacked lineup of stand-up comics, including Ify Nwadiwe, Lizzy Cooperman, and Kimberly Clark. Along with the house band The DyNasties, the comics will join in for the champagne toast.

Phantom Planet @ The Venice West (tickets)

Los Angeles alternative rock band Phantom Planet will help ring in the new year at The Venice West. In 2020, the band unveiled Devastator, which was their first studio album in 12 years.

Forever Midnight LA @ Los Angeles Convention Center (tickets)

Forever Midnight takes over the Los Angeles Convention Center with two nights of EDM at the Forever Stage and Midnight Stage. Sunday's lineup includes sets from Eric Prydz, Solomun, Sofi Tukker, and Black Loops.

Prohibition NYE (w/Chromeo DJ set) @ Union Station (tickets)

Union Station will be the place for Prohibition NYE, which includes a DJ set from Chromeo. Attendees will also witness DJ sets from KCRW's Francesca Harding and DJ Gadachy as well as theatrical burlesque and live jazz ensembles.

Laugh City: LA New Year's Eve Comedy Show @ Petty Cash (tickets)

Laugh City will give folks two chances to laugh at Petty Cash with shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Lyall Behrens (Hulu), Ed Greer (Comedy Central), Steven Briggs (TruTV's Laff Tracks), Kari Assad (UCB Alumni), and Martin Morrow (NBC's Last Comic Standing) will perform at both shows.

NYE Party/Concert with Swamp Dogg and Jenny Zigrino @ The Roxy (tickets)

Dr. Jeri's annual charity event returns to The Roxy with some comedy and music. Over the years, comedian Jenny Zigrino has been making people laugh on Conan, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Comedy Central Standup Presents. Earlier this year, they unveiled their comedy special Jenny Zigrino: Jen-Z on Comedy Central Stand-Up's YouTube channel. Since 1954, iconic soul artist Jerry Williams Jr. b.k.a. Swamp Dogg has deliver a plethora of studio albums, including 2022's I Need A Job...So I Can Buy More Auto-Tune.

Rising Stars New Year’s Eve Party and Award Show @ Silverlake Lounge (tickets)
