While theaters are temporarily closed, improvisers have found a new home streaming on the internet. Through this venture, people from around the world can tune in to see these talented people tell amazing stories. If you’re looking to get lost in a great performance, check out these improv streams going down this weekend (March 19 - March 21).

Friday, March 19

Queen City Comedy's Improv Tournament - 10:30 p.m. EST/7:30 p.m. PST (watch here)

Queen City Comedy will hold three rounds of its improv tournament semi-finals this weekend. The first semi-finals round will feature Burnett Brigade, Illuminati, Cild Ward, We’ll get back to you, That Goddamn Beautiful Old Horse, and LYLLY.

90’s Sitcom (Impro Theatre) - 11:15 p.m. EST/8:15 p.m. PST (watch here)

Are you a fan of sitcoms from the 1990s such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Step By Step? Well, Tatiana Godfrey and Marian Yesufu are delivering some grand improv based in those days with 90’s Sitcom. You can donate to Impro Theatre here.

Saturday, March 20

Queen City Comedy's Improv Tournament - 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST (watch here)

The second semi-finals round for the Queen City Comedy Improv Tournament will include performances from Teenage Mutant Improv Turtles, Unicorn Emoji, Late Night Void, Per The God, and Mini Fridge.

Bay Area Playback Theater VIRTUAL Performance - 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST (get tickets here)

Bay Area Playback Theatre will hold a special virtual performance on Zoom, and everyone’s invited. While the show is free, a suggested $10 donation can be made here. More information about Bay Area Playback Theater can be found here.

Sonder, the improvised podcast will have a special all-women’s episode of its program in celebration of Women’s History Month. Sister Sonder will include Helen Allemano, Gale Brennan, Susan Deming, Leanna Dindal, Karen Foreman, Kelly Holden Bashar, and Rebecca Lowman.
