While theaters are temporarily closed, improvisers have found a new home streaming on the internet. Through this venture, people from around the world can tune in to see these talented people tell amazing stories. If you’re looking to get lost in a great performance, check out these improv streams going down this weekend (March 12 - March 14).

Friday, March 12

Queen City Comedy's Improv Tournament 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST (get tickets here)

Queen City Comedy will continue their Improv Tournament with heat number 3 on Friday. Some of the improv groups performing include Los Angeles' NumNums, Austin's Ten Apart, and Minneapolis' The Overview Effect.

Improvising Shakesphere: Workplace Edition (Impro Theatre) - 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST (watch here)

Saturday, March 13

Queen City Comedy's Improv Tournament 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST (get tickets here)

Queen City Comedy will continue their Improv Tournament with heat number 4 on Saturday. Competing improv groups will be announced.

Pride Night (Fancy Hobo Improv) - 11 p.m. EST/8 p.m. PST (watch here)

LGBTQ+ talent from Fancy Hobo Improv will take over for an evening of laughter through improv and sketches. Hero Carlisle, Catherine McGeoghegan, Magneto Morgan, Grace Protzmann, and Madi Thoele will arrive alongside special guests Mikey Robledo and Baum.

Students in Impro Theatre School's Improvising Shakespeare Workout class will deliver two performances for some Saturday night fun. The second performance takes place at 11:15 p.m. EST/8:15 p.m PST.

Sunday, March 14

Tilted Frame @ Home Techno-Improv 4 p.m. EST/1 p.m. PST (watch here)

Tilted Frame will bring their brand of techno improv to audiences worldwide. Produced by Matthew Quinn, the show will include performers John Baumgaertner, Diana Brown, Misa Doi, and Jaimie Paulson with Miles Berman running things as the stream manager and David Svengalis holding it down as the design manager. The show will be streaming on YouTube with a suggested $8 donation. 30 minutes before the show, ticketholders will get a link to the stream.

Le Roundabout (Impro Theatre) 5 p.m. EST/2 p.m. PST (watch here)

With Le Roundabout, improvisers from around the world get together to tell one wild story. This week's cast includes Lena Breuer, Corinne Chooey, Jill Hoffman, and Jade Law.

Jane Austen Unscripted (Impro Theatre) - 6:00 p.m. EST/3:00 p.m. PST (watch here)

Impro Theatre's Jane Austen Unscripted returns for another tale of love and loss. Inspired by Jane Austen's novels, Susan Deming, Leanna Dindal, Roberto Lewis, Jeff Lorch, and Mike Rock will take the virtual stage for an unforgettable performance.
