The Accidentals announce new album 'Vessel,' release new single “Go Getter"

The Accidentals have revealed their new studio album Vessel today.

The 14-track album, which will be released on October 1, was co-produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Lana Del Rey) and Tucker Martine (Decemberists, First Aid Kit). The first single from the album titled “Go Getter” has been released alongside an accompanying music video, which can be seen below. In the visual, a crew of Goat Getters are looking to prove goats exist.

The band said this about the new release:

“‘Go Getter’ is all about not getting bogged down in the details. Each single art on the Vessel album is a piece of the final album art. When the album comes out the whole picture is revealed. The Vessel album is about letting go of the small stuff and keeping an eye on the wider perspective. ‘Go Getter’ just feels like it embodies the spirit of the album; it says, “we’ve got this.’”

The Accidentals will be on the road in support of the new music. Their tour routing can be seen below.
