Tackle For Loss reveal trailer unveiled
Indifferent Penguin’s forthcoming 2D top-down action game Tackle For Loss has an official reveal trailer.
Released yesterday, the trailer showcase’s the game’s world, which is described as “American football meets Hotline Miami.” The trailer can be seen here.
A synopsis for Tackle For Loss reads:
Tackle for Loss is a 2D top-down action game that puts you in the shoes of a former American football pro. Violent combat, a captivating narrative, and dark pixel art combine to create a pumped-up experience, inspired by the likes of Hotline Miami. The player is haunted by the lingering effects of concussions and driven by a desperate mission to save a loved one. Utilizing his unique set of football skills, players will navigate a gritty underworld, battling enemies and unraveling a conspiracy in the process.
Rapidly eliminating enemies extends combo chains and increases score multipliers, rewarding players for aggressive and strategic gameplay. Unique moves and attacks can be unlocked through progression. By experimenting with a variety of skills and perks, players can develop and refine a variety of combat styles.
Tackle for Loss is currently in development, targeting a late 2025 release on Windows PC. The game has received funding from the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, a German film and media funding agency.
