Fans of darkwave, industrial, synthpop, and the like will make their way to Substance Festival 2022 this weekend in Los Angeles.

The two-day event, which takes place at the Los Angeles Theatre on October 21 and October 22, will feature a slew of amazing talent. On October 21, The Jesus and Mary Chain will headline with support from acts such as Kanga, MVTANT, and Patriarchy. On October 22, Kittin and the Hacker will headline with performances from acts such as Youth Code, Clock DVA, and Plack Blague.

Aside from musical performances, there will be a slew of DJ sets from folks such as Rev.John (Das Bunker), Stephen Mallinder of Cabaret Voltaire, Aimee Simple, and Force Placement. The entire lineup and schedule can be seen below.

Two-day and single day tickets for Substance Festival 2022 is on sale to the general public here. Tickets for the accompanying afterparties, which will take place at a private warehouse, can be purchased here. Substance Festival 2022 is an 18+ event, but the afterparties are for individuals 21+.
