R&B act Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak) will dive further into Fortnite later this month.

Announced today, the act will have a special in-game radio station hosted by Bootsy Collins with songs from their debut album An Evening with Silk Sonic. Collins, who appears on the album, said this about being part of the game:

"Back in the day I was crazy about arcade games, so being able to bridge the worlds of music and gaming with Fortnite is very exciting - both worlds offer players a great way to come together and relax."

Starting on February 11, fans will be able to purchase outfits based on the popular duo. Mars said this about crafting the right outfit for the game:

“When Fortnite asked me if I wanted to create an outfit for the game, I asked, 'Are CGI muscles off the table?' They said 'no.' I said 'deal.' I'll see you on the Island."

Players who want to get these outfits early can take part in the Silk Sonic Cup tournament, which goes down on February 7. All players earning eight points during the tournament will gain the Silk Sonic spray. Last April, an emote based on Silk Sonic’s “Leave The Door Open” was unveiled in the shop.

Silk Sonic will kick off their Las Vegas residency later this month. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now.
