Shred Fest brings punk rock and skateboarding to Los Angeles this September

Los Angeles will get a massive dose of skateboarding and punk rock this September courtesy of Shred Fest.

Taking place on Saturday, September 18 at The Pink Motel from noon to 8 p.m., the all-ages event will include a trio of skate contests with $10,000 in prizes up for grabs. Punk rockers Strung Out and Pulley will be co-headlining the event. Strung Out’s last studio album was 2019’s Songs of Armor and Devotion, which peaked at number three on the Heatseekers Albums chart and number 10 on the Independent Albums chart. Pulley’s last studio album was 2016’s No Change in the Weather. Other acts slated to perform include Urethane, OPM, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, and a DJ set from Tommy Sandoval with more set to be revealed.
