Rising pop artist Salem Ilese has released their new single “About a Breakup.”

The song can be heard below via a nifty lyric video directed by Clare Gillen. The singer said this about the new cut:

“It’s funny. I wrote this before quarantine and all that happened in 2020. At the time we were just talking about the devastating fires in Australia. Little did we know that was only the beginning,”

“About a Breakup” stems from Ilese’s forthcoming (L)only Child EP, which drops on May 21. Pre-orders can be made here. “About a Breakup” is available on streaming services right now. Earlier this month, Ilese teamed up with Llusion for the track “Yoga.”
