Anime convention Ronin-Expo returns to Los Angeles' Terasaki Budokan this Saturday
Ronin-Expo will make its return to Los Angeles’ Terasaki Budokan (249 S Los Angeles St.) this Saturday (October 21) for a celebration of anime and Asian culture.
A slew of voice talent will be on hand for autograph signings at the convention, including Erik Kimerer (Demon Slayer, Seven Deadly Sins, One Punch Man), Stephanie Nadolny (Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball, Kid KO), and Karen Stassman (Bleach, Fate Stay Night, Code Geass).
Once inside, attendees will have a plethora of panels and events awaiting them. The Panel Room will include panels such as More Than City Pop: A Guide to J-Pop In The 80s, a Hideo Kojima fan panel, and Intro to Visual Kei and Fan Talk. The main stage will feature a mixture of panels, live performances, and a cosplay contest hosted by Chuupacabras with judges HylianCream, Beanandcheese.burrito, and Miku☆Miku.
Those looking for some video game action will head to the Gamer Zone, which will feature both casual and competitive gaming. There’s also the Traversing the Roninverse live adventure game created by Summoner’s Stories, which allows attendees to take on various quests while attending the convention.
Ronin-Expo’s vendor hall/artist alley will feature vendors and artists such as YSB creations, FM Anime Shop, and Space Cadet Studios selling some exciting items. Those looking for some food can check out a handful of food vendors at the event such as tsun scoops and Okamoto Kitchen.
