Roguelike city-builder These Doomed Isles gets September release via Steam Early Access

Roguelike city-builder These Doomed Isles will be headed to Steam Early Access later this year.

Revealed at today’s OTK Games Expo, the title, which is being developed by Triplevision Games and published by Fireshine Games, will arrive on Steam Early Access this September. A new trailer showcasing the game’s lore and the gods Cernunnos, Plutus and Acan can be seen below. The game is slated for a full launch early next year.

A synopsis for These Doomed Isles reads:

In These Doomed Isles, players must raise islands, build settlements, and provide shelter, resources and defences to help their followers survive against raiders, natural disasters and mythological monstrosities. Place forests, rivers, mountains and more, and craft your deck to bring the world to life with powerful cards, relics and miracles in this strategic settlement-building roguelike.

A prologue chapter titled These Doomed Isles: The First God is available for free on Steam right now. Progress made in this chapter can be transfered over to the Early Access version. A new demo of the game allowing players to play as Plutus, the Greek god of wealth will arrive on June 16.
