Presenters revealed for Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2023 (Finn Wolfhard, Juju Smith-Schuster)

Crunchyroll have announced a list of presenters for this year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards today.

Among those announced as presenters for the award ceremony are director Robert Rodriguez, Super Bowl-winning wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster, and Stranger Things’ star Finn Wolfhard.

Robert Rodriguez said this about presenting at the ceremony:

“I love anime, it’s an art form that has always inspired me. For the creators, it’s unbound creativity and freedom of expression, where they can make truly iconic, creative worlds and characters. Anime is a crucible for new ideas and fresh perspectives in entertainment. So I’m very excited to help celebrate the grand winners being honored at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan.”

Juju Smith-Schuster, who just won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, also said:

“I have been a huge anime fan since I was a kid. It has been a part of my whole life, till this day, it has helped me so much. I’m an NFL athlete and I get to represent this anime world. So for me to present an Anime Award to some of the greatest shows in the world, it's the best.”

A list of newly announced presenters can be seen below. More presenters and musical acts will be announced soon.

Co-hosted by singer/voice talent Sally Amaki and Japanese presenter Jon Kabira, the 2023 installment of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards will take place on March 4 at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo.
