Rising hip hop artist Porsh Bet$ has unveiled their new single “Things In The Way.”

The track, which can be heard below, was produced by M-Phazes, who is best known for their work with Madonna, K.Flay, and Noah Cyrus. Porsh Bet$ said this about the new song, which comes with an Isaiah Suko-directed music video:

“‘Things in The Way’ is about the constraints of being in a long-distance relationship with someone and the yearning it creates. I wrote this when I first started seeing my girlfriend and I was living in LA and she was on the East Coast. When I came to the studio that day to work with M-Phazes, I was frustrated because it felt like we were missing each other and led to us starting to close off and push away from one another. I just started listing off everything that was seemingly stopping us from being together. My complaints about our circumstances eventually became the hook of the song.”

"Things In The Way" is the title track for the artist’s forthcoming five-song EP, which will drop on February 17 via Virgin. The song is available on digital services right now.
