Pokemon will bring together some of music biggest acts for one compilation album.

Announced yesterday, Pokemon 25: The Album will include music from acts such as Katy Perry, Post Malone, and newly announced contributor J Balvin. When it comes to joining this compilation, Balvin stated:

“Pokémon is pulling out all the stops for P25 Music, and I’m thrilled to join the program as one of its premier collaborators. I’m looking forward to adding my own unique flavor to this huge Pokémon party and adding more good vibes to the celebration.”

Perry, Balvin, and a soon-to-be-announced artist will each release a new song with accompanying merch for each release. Pokemon 25: The Album, which drops later this year, will include 14 songs done by 11 different Universal Music Group artists. Post Malone’s cover of Hootie and the Blowfish’s “Only Wanna Be With You” will appear on the digital record. You can check out Post Malone’s recent Pokemon virtual concert below.
