While British doom metal band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs are kicking off a slew of East Coast dates in the United States this weekend, they already have plans to return to the area next year.

Announced today, the band’s North American trek will kick off on February 18 at Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom, and it’ll feature stops in Denver, Chicago, and Detroit before concluding at Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern on February 24.

An updated tour routing can be seen below. Pre-sale tickets for the newly announced shows will go on sale to the general public this Tuesday (October 31). Tickets will go on sale to the general public next Friday (November 3) at 10 a.m. local time.

The news comes as the band releases their new live album Live In New York today. The record was recorded during their performance at Mercury Lounge earlier this year supporting their latest album Land Of Sleeper.

Drummer Ewan Mackenzie said this about the live album:

“Our show at Mercury Lounge in Manhattan NYC was the last date of our North American tour, and the final chapter of a wonderful musical adventure for us. We had already had the privilege of playing at St. Vitus in Brooklyn at the start of the tour, and so returning to NYC again felt like a kind of homecoming. The atmosphere was electric that night, there was magic in the air and a special connection among everyone in the room.

'Big Rig' is such a joy to play, like a journey in itself, with big changes, breakdowns and tangents: you feel like you’re hanging on for dear life as the song sweeps you into another mind-bending section."
