Photos: NAMM 2024 opening day packed the Anaheim Convention Center
NAMM 2024 kicked off yesterday at the Anaheim Convention Center, and its opening day brought thousands of musicians to test out some forthcoming products.
As attendees walked between buildings to check out the exhibit halls, they were greeted to live music outside at the ADJ Arena Plaza Stage and Yamaha Grand Plaza Stage. Acts such as Latin Grammy nominated artist AleMor, Under The Lake founder Jayson Tipp, and Grammy winning a cappella group Take 6 delivered tunes throughout the day. Live music wasn't exclusively outside with several acts performing in the exhibit halls, including husband and wife duo Stevon and Kayla Artis, Los Angeles singer-songwriter Emi Grace, and prolific turntablist DJ Qbert.
The exhibit halls displayed a slew of forthcoming products that will certainly be on the wishlists of several musicians. Aeroband showed off their PocketDrum 2 Plus, which allows anyone to live out their air drumming dreams anywhere. For those looking to use their fingers for drumming action, Yamaha showcased their Finger Drum Pads. While anyone can use their fingers to make the perfect hip hop or metal beat, drumsticks were present for those at the booth.
