Photos: Double Fine and iam8bit's Day of the Devs: The Game Awards Edition 2023 in Los Angeles

With a plethora of developers in town for The Game Awards, Double Fine and iam8bit brought their Day of the Devs event to Los Angeles’ City Market Social House on Friday.

The six-hour event, which was free to the public, showcased a slew of upcoming indie titles for everyone to test out. Games such as Give Me Toilet Paper, Echo of the Waves, and Two Strikes drew a lot of attention from the growing audience. Outside of the venue, people were testing their luck with the street-based game How (Not) To Get Hit By A Self-Driving Car, which forced people to maneuver though a stage without being detected.

Attendees also got to play Braid, Anniversary Edition, which was originally slated for a 2021 release. Arriving on April 30, this updated version of the beloved game will feature updated graphics and developer commentary.
