Panic Lift and CARV.R set to rock New Jersey's QXT's this Saturday

New Jersey alternative nightclub QXT’s is back and better than ever, and this Saturday, they’ll have their first live concert since the coronavirus happened.

Newark’s industrial act Panic Lift, who have played at the nightclub countless times, will headline the event. The band will be releasing their forthcoming Split EP, which is the first part of a five-part EP series slated to run through next year. A new single titled “Tribute” can be heard below. Pre-orders for Split can be made on Panic Lift’s Bandcamp page. This is the act’s first new music since 2018’s End Process.

Opening the show is synthpop artist CARV.R, who is best known for playing drums in Panic Lift and Bella Morte. The artist recently appeared in Moris Blak’s latest remix album Irregular Revisions Vol. II.

Aside from the live music, there’s plenty of DJs on board spinning some exciting music throughout the night. The main floor features DJ Mindsolvent and DJ Patrick keeping things moving with some post-punk, darkwave, and goth jams, Area 51 has DJ Luna dropping some industrial and EBM bangers, and The Crypt will have DJ Victrola spinning some ‘80s classics.

Doors for this event will open at 9 p.m. with a $20 cover. More information on QXT’s can be found here. The nightclub is located on 248 Mulberry Street in Newark, New Jersey (two blocks from the Prudential Center).
