NYC industrial metal band American Anymen unveiled their music video for "My Vacation" yesterday.

The visual, which can be seen below, was directed by American Anymen vocalist Brett Sullivan. When it comes to the track, Sullivan said:

"This song is about the problems of the world becoming more and more of an obstruction to the average person’s life. It used to be about climate change and that the environment would collapse in 30 years, but now things are happening in the present, right before our eyes. I wrote this song because even in the face of a pandemic, war, and environmental extinction, Americans seem more determined than ever to escape reality by burying themselves in vacations, movies, and the never-ending distractions provided by social media. We are trapped in an impending hell, but we still want to plan for our next vacation."

“My Vacation stems from American Anymen’s new studio album Cities Changing Names, which is out right now on Eclipse Records.
