My Hero Academia to hold world premiere OVA screening at New York Comic Con 2023
New York Comic Con attendees will get the first glimpse of an upcoming OVA of My Hero Academia.
Announced today, the world premiere screening of the season six OVA titled “UA HEROES BATTLE” will take place on Friday, October 13 at 5:00 PM EST at the Empire Stage. For this English dub screening, attendees will also gain free cards playable in the My Hero Academia collectible card game.
A synopsis of the episode reads:
The third year, Mirio Togata, pays a visit to the students of Class 1-A, who are bored because they are not allowed to go outside. He brings them a card game called U.A. Heroes Battle that the support course made. This game, where players can use cards of various U.A. students, is tough, just like U.A. itself. Who will win the card battle?!
Unfortunately, Friday tickets are sold out, but tickets can be requested on Lyte. A limited number of tickets for Thursday and Sunday at New York Comic Con are still on sale to the general public here. New York Comic Con will take place from October 12 through October 15 at the Javits Center in NYC. More information about the convention can be found here.
My Hero Academia can be streamed on Crunchyroll right now here. A synopsis for the show reads:
Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
