Los Angeles coffee shop Matte Black Coffee is getting into the Persona 5 Royal spirit with their new collaboration with Atlus West.

From now until November 13, the coffee shop will deliver some Persona goodness to every who enters. There will be two special drinks for Persona fans: the P5R Latte and the Phantom Thieves. This collaboration comes after the release of Persona 5 Royal to the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Originally released in 2019 on the PlayStation 4, Persona 5 Royal is an enhanced version of 2016’s Persona 5. Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal have sold a combined five million copies worldwide.

A synopsis for Persona 5 Royal reads:

“Forced to transfer to a high school in Tokyo, the protagonist has a strange dream.

“You truly are a prisoner of fate. In the near future, ruin awaits you.”

With the goal of “rehabilitation” looming overhead, he must save others from distorted desires by donning the mask of a Phantom Thief.”
