Los Angeles indie pop artist Sloan Golden has delivered their debut single "Parking Lot" today.

Golden co-wrote the song with singer-songwriter Jensen McRae with indie rock musician Runnner handling things as the track’s producer. Golden said this about the tune, which is out on digital services right now:

"I wanted the song to be the sonic encapsulation of what an anxiety attack feels like. I intentionally never mentioned the title of the song within the lyrics as I want listeners to be able to place themselves in their own 'parking lots' without me ever having to say it."

The song’s accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was directed by Madi Boll. The director said this about working on the visual:

"A panic attack feels like everything inside of you is at hyper speed while the world outside is hazy and out of sync. This got me thinking about a world where everyday objects move in sync with our mental highs and lows, and thus 'Parking Lot' came to life."

Golden will promote their new song tomorrow (May 16) at Los Angeles’ Breaking Sound Showcase at Employees Only. Other acts slated to perform include Myles Maxwell, Mel Fine, Paul is Awful, and Liv DeToma. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
