Los Angeles all-female improv group Ripley Improv announce new show Encounter

For several weeks, Los Angeles all-female improv group Ripley Improv have been teasing their next genre. Following beloved shows Dystopia and Glam, they'll be back this fall with Encounter. Inspired by Alien, Arrival, and Annihilation, this show follows a woman’s discovery of the unknown. Each night tells a different story based on the audience’s suggestion.

Encounter will take place at the Impro Studio every Friday from October 4 through December 6. Tickets for these performances are on sale right on the Impro Theatre website.

Aside from the new genre, Ripley Improv will be unveiling their new improvised series in the near future. Follow them on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for more information.

Ripley Improv is Madi Goff (Impro Theatre Main Company), Laurie Jones (Wishbone Theatre Collective), Kelly Lohman (Vs. Theatre Company), Aliza Pearl (Geek & Sundry), Sara Mountjoy-Pepka (Jane Austen Improvised), Amanda Troop (Rage 2), and Jessica Lynn Verdi (Hyper RPG). Encounter is directed by Goff and Mountjoy-Pepka.
