Kazoku Festival celebrates AAPI culture tomorrow at Los Angeles' Japanese American Cultural and Community Center

After a successful debut last year in Garden Grove, the Kazoku Festival is headed to Little Tokyo (Los Angeles) for round two tomorrow (Saturday, July 29).

The free one-day festival, which is co-produced by NIGHTSHIFT and Tune In Tokyo, celebrating AAPI culture will take place at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (244 San Pedro St.) from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. At the festival, attendees can browse through a huge selection of vendors, including BORO BORO, Asayoru Cafe, We Share Records, and Lightning Strike. The event will also feature a slew of entertainment on the main stage with live performances and DJ sets from acts such as Stephanie Yanez, Tune In Tokyo, and Nitsua.

Attendees will gain a free tote bag, and there will also be a rug giveaway taking place before the headliner. Those looking to enter the giveway can head to the Kazoku booth for a raffle ticket.

More information about Kazoku Festival can be found here. Follow the festival’s Instagram page for any updates about the event. The Japanese American Cultural & Community Center is located a few minutes from the Little Tokyo/Arts District station.
