Swedish indie-folk artist José González announces 2022 North American tour

Swedish indie-folk artist José González will return to North America for a handful of shows.

Announced today, the trek will kick off on August 25 at The Ford in Los Angeles, and it’ll feature stops in Brooklyn, Montreal, and Salt Lake City. The nine-date trek will conclude at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall on September 3. On select dates, González will be joined by Sam Burton, Madi Diaz, and Anjimile.

The entire tour routing can be seen below. Pre-sale tickets begin tomorrow (May 11) with tickets arriving to the general public on Friday (May 13).

González will be plugging their recent studio album Local Valley, which is out on Mute Records. The artist recently unveiled the El Invento EP, which is the first of a slew of EPs revisiting singles from Local Valley.
