Jesse Royal releases new single “Hope (feat. Romain Virgo)”

Grammy-nominated reggae artist Jesse Royal has teamed up with Romain Virgo for their new single “Hope.”

Royal said this about the new single, which can be heard below:

“My thing is that we are blessed in excess as a little nation [Jamaica] that has caused a huge impact on the world, from music to culture to respecting the herb. This song is just a reminder that we don’t need too much government interference – we just need ‘hope.’ The opportunity to think big and dream big, because it’s necessary on a broader scale for the world. A confident Jamaica to me means a happier world.”

“Hope,” which is on digital services right now via Easy Star Records, is the first new music from the artist since the release of their Grammy-nominated album Royal. The artist is slated to unveil a new EP later this year.

Royal will be touring in the following weeks with some performances alongside Stephen Marley. This Saturday, Royal will perform at the California Roots Festival at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center, Monterey, California. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
