Rising indie-pop artist Dawson Fuss released their new single "Nothing Really Changes" yesterday.

The new track, which is being released during the last few months of Fuss’ time as a high school senior, follows Fuss’ debut EP Edge of Adolescence. When discussing the song, the artist said:

“I grew up believing that as soon as I blew out the candles on my 18th birthday, the shackles of childhood would be broken…The problems I’d faced previously didn’t magically disappear, yet in reality, they became larger and more pressing.

I realized I took advantage of the benefits of being a kid and living in a world of ignorance that now, being out of the bubble, I wish I could crawl back in and live in that blissful place.”

An accompanying music video for the song, which can be seen below, was directed by frequent collaborator Anastasia Delmark. Fuss said this about working on the video for 12 hours:

"Shooting the music video for 'Nothing Really Changes' was one of the coolest experiences of my life. It honestly went by so fast because of how much fun I was having."
