Hackdepicciotto, which features Einstüzende Neubauten’s Alexander Hacke and Love Parade co-founder Danielle de Picciotto, have announced their new studio album today.

The Silver Threshold will be released on November 12 via Mute Records. The first single from the album titled “Evermore” is the first love song for the husband-and-wife duo, who’ve collaborated with each other for years. The music video for the track, which can be seen below, was directed by Studio Bergfors.

Hacke said this about working on the record during lockdown:

“These restrictions and the necessity of confining oneself gave me a sense of the potential. It actually gave me a kind of weird euphoria. We had the distinct feeling while we were working that we were standing on a threshold. That it was neither the time before the pandemic or post-pandemic. I think we both really felt the potential of that, that we were at this gateway.”
